    Introduction to Health and Safety (Max 10 delegates):

    This course can be run over 1-3 or 5 days depending on the level of training needed, and covers the main legislation needed to manage health and safety inc.

    Introduction to Risk Assessment (One day max 10 delegates):
    Aimed at the workforce this course is designed to give an understanding of the day to day assessments needed to be made in the workplace as well as more formal training in assessment techniques.
     
     
     
     
    A Guide to the Display Screen Regulations (Max 6 delegates):
    One day course for supervisors and management inc practical instruction on risk assessment and setting up workstations
     
     
     
     
    Risk Assessment (One day max 6 delegates):

    A one day course for supervisors and management inc. regulations, documentation, setting up assessment teams and practical hands on assessments.

    Courses can be tailored to the customers needs. I am also happy to develop a course in consultation with the customer.

     
     
     
     
    Forklift Truck. B1 & B2 counterbalance and reach, FLT:
    One three or five day courses to cover from novice, experienced unlicensed and refresher training. All training is completed to national standard and a nationally recognised certificate issued on the successful completion of the course. A full course syllabus can be supplied on request.
     
     
     
     
    E.O.T. Crane. Cab and pendant controlled overhead cranes:

    One day refresher, and two day initial courses are available.

    Course to include the following elements

    1. Regulation
    2. Slinging theory (inc safety code)
    3. Slinging theory paper (B.S.1)
    4. Explanation of controls and instruments
    5. Daily checks
    6. Basic operating techniques inc:
      a. Long travel East West
      b. Cross travel North South
      c. Hoist up & down
      d. Hoist limit switch
      e. Safety cut out switch
      f. Inspection of slings and lifting tackle

    Practical slinging and signalling
    Progressive lifting exercises

    Abrasive Wheels:

    Course to include the following elements

    1. Regulation
    2. Hazards arising from the use of abrasive wheels
    3. Grades, types and marking of wheels
    4. Speed of wheels and machines
    5. Storage and handling of wheels
    6. Inspection and testing of wheels
    7. Mounting of wheels
    8. Flanges and blotters.

    Test paper.
